CANCELLATION
POLICY

If you cancel a class with more than 48 hours' notice, you will receive a full refund or you may reschedule for no additional fee.

If you cancel a class with less than 48 hours' notice, you may reschedule your class for $25. If you choose not to reschedule or if you are a "no show" to your scheduled class, your registration fees are forfeited.

Late arrivals:  Because of the structure and pace of the programs, students arriving more than 15 minutes late are considered a "no show" and are not allowed to attend the class.

IMPORTANT: All cancellations and reschedules MUST be made via email or with a staff person by calling our office at (707) 795-4444. Voicemail messages will not be accepted for cancellations and reschedules.

Elevator access is in the center of building entrance or if you take the stairs at the South end of the building, we are right at the top in Suite A220.

BLS FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS
This is an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider level course that meets the Basic Life Support requirements
for nurses, doctors, dental personnel, paramedics, lifeguards, and other health care professionals.

PART 1:  Visit the AHA web site, pay the AHA fee,
review the CPR info, and then take the written test

PART 2:  Then make a one-on-one appointment
with SOS•CPR to demonstrate your skills to our staff.

HEARTSAVER COURSES

   HEARTSAVER CPR AED & ADULT FIRST AID: $99 (includes book)*

This course teaches Adult, Child and Infant CPR and Adult First Aid skills for the industrial setting, and is geared toward the general public or anyone needing this for work purposes in a non-medical environment.  Learn how to assess an emergency scene and give patients the basic care they need until the Emergency Service Team arrives. First Aid is not suitable to Daycare requirements see our listings for Pediatric First Aid Courses.

This course meets the CPR training requirements for teaching credentials, athletic staff, daycare providers and lay rescuers.

HEARTSAVER PEDIATRIC FIRST AID WITH CPR

This course is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters,anyone in the community who wants to learn more about helping a child in an emergency or anyone working with children not not middle school age. If you are a Daycare Provider, Foster Parent or taking this to meet a regulatory child care agency requirement or EMSA for licensed Child Care Providers, please take the extended version of this course we offer entitled "EMSA DAYCARE PEDIATRIC CPR & FIRST AID" (see next column for course info and dates).

EMSA DAYCARE PEDIATRIC CPR & FIRST AID: $129

This CPR/First Aid course is acceptable for foster or adoptive parents and Child Care Providers.

This course is approved by the California EMS Authority and Department of Social Services for Licensed Child Care Providers and includes Adult, Child and Infant CPR skills.

EMSA requires daycare licensed facilities and their staff to attend no less than 8 hours to meet regulations.

Pre-registration and payment are required for all courses to reserve your space. No walk-ins are allowed on the day of class.

Courses include a training manual and 2-year American Heart Association certification. Books may be picked up in advance by calling our office for arrangements.

You may reschedule without penalty if 24 hours' notice is given. No shows or cancellations without notice are subject to a $25 reschedule fee. Refunds are made only if cancellation is made 72 hours in advance.

If you are registering for a class less than 48 hours in advance, please call our office to confirm space availability.

SOS•CPR reserves the right to cancel a class that does not meet the minimum registration requirements.  Refunds or transfers will be offered.

PLEASE NOTE that students who are more than 10 minutes late for class will — at the instructor's option — be rescheduled (for an additional $25) or be used as a CPR dummy during the class.
